At Ashford Angling Society, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional value membership to anglers of all ages and abilities. With access to Surrenden Lakes, Singleton Lake, the River Rother and Spider Hall Fishery, becoming a member gives you the opportunity to fish across some of the finest waters in Kent.

Our membership season runs from 1st June until 31st May each year. We do not offer part-season memberships, ensuring fair access to all members and helping us maintain well-managed fisheries throughout the season.
Junior members under 14 fish completely free, as we believe in supporting the future of angling.
*** Please note that we do not accept new members between 1st January and 14th June each year. You can fill out an application form for the new season from the 1st June if you would like to join the waiting list. ***
Once you’ve applied, please keep an eye on your inbox as if there is space and your membership application is approved you will receive an email from us to let you know.
Don’t forget, you can come for a day to give it a go with a family member or friend who is already one of our members. Either register on our website or login to your account.
We believe that giving prospective members the chance to experience what we have to offer at Surrenden is the right thing to do. So we have the concept of a Temporary Guest Membership. This means that you can join for a day and come and enjoy the fantastic complex that could be yours to use if you decide to join.
All you have to do is to speak to a friend or family member who will be your host for the day. They will look after you and explain the rules etc.
Once you have agreed a date with your host, all you need to do is register on the website and head to the shop to buy your temporary membership.
